As one of the most affluent towns in England outside of London, Solihull is the West Midland’s go to town for designer shopping and fine dining. Its proximity to Birmingham offers rural villages and country hotels in contrast to the busy life of the city. Both the National Exhibition Centre and Genting Arena host events, shows and corporate conferences in the town, attracting businesses and networking events from all over the country. It is also home to Land Rover’s main production plant and a range of other major international companies.
Birmingham airport is located within easy reach of Solihull and is just a ten minute drive from the town centre. There are good road and rail links to London, with the M42 and M40 both passing through. Frequent trains run from Solihull station to London Marylebone, as well as into Birmingham city centre.
