Livingston, located 15 miles west of Edinburgh and 30 miles east of Glasgow, is the largest town in the county of West Lothian. This area was previously an important oil shale area and the world’s first oil boom occurred here, leading to over three million tons of shale being mined here by 1870. Now, the town’s main employers are Sky UK, the National Health Service and Witherby Seamanship, who are one of the oldest publishers in the UK.
The town is well positioned for good transport links and has a network of motorways and A-roads surrounding it, which meet up and travel to the north and south. Railways pass through from Glasgow to Edinburgh and back and both airports in these major Scottish cities are close by, offering both international and domestic flights.
Our Deer Park serviced offices in Livingston offer a bright and vibrant place to conduct business. Design, IT and technology businesses thrive in this business centre and the buzzing atmosphere attracts creative start-ups and small enterprises. As well as office space for rent, the Livingston centre is located close to a range of hotels, which are convenient for any clients who have travelled a long way to talk business with you in one of our meeting rooms.
We can also offer shared office space, if you would prefer to work in an open plan room with other sole-traders, where you only pay for the desk space that you use, meaning you can focus on the job and not on the costs.
