The centre is next to the city’s busy bus station and is a short walk to Wakefield Westgate Rail Station. It’s also easy to get to by car with secure parking on site and direct access in to the 1,000-space car park from the city’s inner ring road (A61). By Road:

  • Trinity Walk is easy to get to by car and we have 24 hour parking for almost 1,000 cars.
  • Wakefield is just off the M1, M62 and A1 and well connected to all the surrounding areas.
  • Trinity Walk is located on the A61, Marsh Way, Wakefield’s inner ring road.
  • If you are travelling on the M1 from the North, leave the motorway at junction 41 and take the 1st exit onto A650 into Wakefield and follow signs towards A61 ring road.
  • If you are travelling on the M1 from the South, leave the at junction 40.
  • At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A638 and follow signs to Wakefield city centre.
  • If you are travelling on the M62 from the East, leave at junction 30 and take the A642 into Wakefield City Centre to join the A61 ring road.
  • If you are travelling from the West on the M62, leave the motorway at junction 29, to join the M1.
  • Leave the M1 at junction 41 and take the 1st exit onto A650 into Wakefield and follow signs towards A61 ring road.
  • If you are using Sat-Nav, the centre’s postcode is WF1 3NT.

  • There is a taxi drop off & pick up point in the car park by Sainsbury’s, where you will also find a freephone to a local taxi operator.

By Air:

  • Leeds Bradford Airport is a 20 mile drive from Trinity Walk.

  • Trinity Walk is just across the road from Wakefield’s main bus terminal.
  • A free city bus links the two train stations, the bus station, Trinity Walk and the other main shopping areas.
  • It runs every 10 minutes from 7.30am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am – 5pm on Saturdays.
  • All journeys are free of charge and each bus is fully accessible and can carry one wheelchair at a time along with pushchairs.
  • Arriva buses arrive at Wakefield Bus Station, directly next to Trinity Walk, all day every day.
  • If you’re travelling from Leeds, Castleford, Dewsbury, Morley, Batley, Normanton, Hemsworth or anywhere else across West Yorkshire with over 5000 buses coming into Wakefield bus station each week, there’s sure to be a service to connect you with Trinity Walk.

  • Trinity Walk is a short walk from the two train stations, Westgate (9 minutes) and Kirkgate (15 minutes), with connections to Leeds, Sheffield and local towns

  • From Westgate Rail station
  • As you leave the car park, turn left onto Westgate and walk up the hill.
  • Continue on as Westgate, the bear left into Marygate which becomes the Bull Ring at Wood Street
  • Continue along The Bull Ring until you reach the public square.
  • Turn right into Westmorland Street.
  • Take the second left into Teall Street, Trinity Walk is straight ahead of you..
