The building overlooks the Arena, home of AFC Ajax, which is used for football games and a range of high profile sporting and cultural events. A variety of hospitality and other businesses servicing these sectors are based locally. Also on hand is the Bijlmerpark and theatre, which also play host to large cultural events.
