The Sophia Antipolis Lucioles II business centre is in the Algorithmes building on the purpose-built technology park of Sophia Antiopolis, close to Antibes and Nice. Completed in 1984, the park is home to multinational companies, innovative SMEs and hi-tech start-ups in computing, electronics, biotechnology and pharmacology. Nearby are higher education institutions and the World Wide Web Consortium, hosted by the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics. The business centre is on the same road as the regional headquarters of the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control. The building has showers and terraces overlooking the 6,000-acre park and surrounding forest. There are good public transport links, with a bus station based in the park and direct routes to Antibes train station.
