1. What is a Regus business centre? How is it different from a traditional office?
Regus business centres are conveniently located in city centres and near major transportation hubs. With Regus business centres you get a complete, professional office environment included in one monthly fee. You'll also get professional receptionists, state-of-the-art telephone and IT services, kitchen areas and business lounges.
With traditional offices, you have to navigate the costly and time-consuming world of setting up and configuring your workspace. Before you can be productive, you must:
- pay for altering office space
- sign a fixed-length office lease
- provide office furniture
- contract with multiple service providers (phone, Internet, maintenance)
- hire office staff
- buy or rent office equipment
- build or configure connectivity infrastructure
- spend time, resources and money
With Regus business centres, your office space solutions are a single phone call or mouse click away. Simply plug in your computer and start working — and leave the rest to us.
2. What types of terms come with Regus business centres?
With traditional office space you often need a legal representative to negotiate a complicated office lease before you can rent or lease an office. But using a Regus business centre for your office space solution couldn't be easier, especially when compared to renting traditional office space. We have a one-page office agreement instead of a 20-page office space lease. We give you control over the term of your office agreement — from three months to five years — so you have the ability to grow as your business needs change. And with our professional support staff you have on-demand access to administrative support and office equipment without hiring a permanent staff or making a capital investment.
3. Are Regus business centres located where I need to do business?
The Regus Group has business centres in 1000 locations in 75 countries, including over 90 throughout the UK. With so many office locations in key cities worldwide, chances are one is close to where you need to do business. There's no need to conduct an extensive search for office space to rent that is suited to your needs — simply use our office location finder and take your pick! And consider a Regus Virtual Office if you need multiple addresses around the globe and an office in only one location.
4. What if my office space needs change?
No problem. Since each business centre typically has between 100 and 400 individual workstations, we can accommodate your changing office space needs with ease. You are locked into a lease agreement when you rent a traditional office, but at a Regus business centre you can expand or shrink the size of your office space as your needs change. You only pay for the office space you need.
5. How do Regus business centres support my business when I travel?
As a Regus customer you have access to our 1000 business centre locations. You'll receive priority access to Regus meeting rooms, videoconferencing and business lounge facilities. Our business centres have trained, multilingual assistants on hand to help you with copy and printing services as well as reception and concierge services. Each business centre features a common look-and-feel experience so you know what you can expect at every Regus office location.
6. Can I choose my office configuration?
Regus business centres offer various configurations to suit your needs. In a Regus business centre you do not incur any of the costly setup fees involved in renting traditional office space. Choose from a single-person office, a large executive office, a team office or an open floor plan — all fully furnished and equipped. All Regus offices can be equipped with our advanced IT and telecoms packages without delay.
7. Do I need to supply my own office equipment?
No. All Regus business centres come equipped with everything you need. We have contemporary office furniture, high-speed internet connectivity, fully staffed reception areas and state-of-the-art business lounges and kitchen areas. Best of all you can expect the same high-quality office services at every one of our 1000 business centres worldwide. When you lease or rent office space the traditional way you must fit out the entire office at your own expense, which can take weeks or even months. With Regus business centres you can begin working immediately.
8. Do you have staffing available at Regus business centres?
In a Regus business centre a fully trained team member is always on hand to handle your day-to-day administrative duties or on an as-needed basis for those special projects. Unlike traditional leasing there is no need to hire an outside administrative staff to service your office. Our business centres come equipped with high-speed Internet and advanced telecom infrastructure.
9. When can I get started in my new office?
The process to rent traditional office space can take weeks or even months. Our business centres can be configured to your specifications and ready in no time. You can sign your Regus office agreement on one day and start working in your new office the next.
10. How will my business be visible in a Regus business centre?
When you want a visible presence, a Regus business centre delivers. We're pleased to offer internal branding within our business centre locations, allowing you to display your company logo within your office. We offer wall-mounted panels and reception directory panels, ordered and fitted. Simply provide us with your logo and we'll do the rest. So, in addition to all the benefits of working in a Regus business centre, your office will present a seamless yet individual image. Contact your local business centre for details.

We only require a deposit that is twice your monthly fee, with your first months fee being payable in advance.
5. What services can a Virtual Office provide my business?
We provide services that include standard secretarial duties, typing, photocopying, as well as services such as printing of company stationery and obviously call answering, message handling and mail management. We also provide ideal business locations for you to meet with your clients and suppliers, as well as the option to take 40 hours worth of office usage per month, and availability of other benefits such as free membership to a powerful online and offline networking forum.
6. What addresses can I choose from for my Virtual Office?
You can select your virtual office business address from a choice of over 100 UK locations, and a further 1000 worldwide. We currently operate across 75 countries, and 450 key cities across the globe – so why stop at just one virtual office address?
7. How does mail management work?
Mail forwarding is simple to set-up and provides you with the level of service that suits you the most. All mail received at your virtual office address can either be held at the centre for you to collect, or it can be forward to an address of your choice, at cost, by either first class Royal mail services or by courier.
8. How does call management work?
There are two specific levels of call management available to our clients:
a. The telephone Answering solution provides clients with a non-geographical main company number (that begins 0870, 0845, 0207, 0208) which has special features and benefits that allows all your faxes to be received via email, calls to be diverted to wherever they are required (at home, in the office, on the mobile), all through one number – ensuring that you will never miss a call, voicemail or fax again. This telephony package is perfect for people that want to maintain control over their own inbound and outbound calls wherever they are and whatever they’re doing .
b. The full telephony package offered as part of the complete Virtual Office product ensures that your calls are taken by a team of professional handlers who answer your calls, in your company name, and seamlessly forward these, as per your instructions. You can receive messages via email, SMS or voicemail, and you can also choose to have end of day messaging. This package ensures that your callers are dealt with in a professional manner whilst leaving you free to concentrate on driving your business forward.
9. How do I get billed for my Virtual Office?
To activate your virtual office we simply require a deposit twice your monthly fee, along with your first months fee, payable in advance. This initial payment can be made over the phone by credit card, or by a cleared cheque. After your initial payment, all standard monthly charges for your virtual office will be paid by a Direct Debit mandate. Any ad-hoc charges that you may incur, such as meeting room hire charges, or printing of company stationery will be billed on a pay-as-you-use basis by credit card.
